Horses - a family tradition

I have followed in the footsteps of both my grandparents and my parents (who were horsebreeders of military stock), by rearing horses  at " Grange-Neuve ", a typical Dombist farm.My five children have all " caught the bug " and our grandson is fascinated by these huge beasts he calls " gee gee ".

Horses - a considered choice

Our breeding stems from two family lines : BLONDINE and KARISMA, of different origins but both of ancient and unquestioneable lineage.
We take full advantage of modern techniques : artifical insemination and BLUP, stallions from public or private studs, old or young, but always rich in PS or AA which ensures a character, willingness and excellent health. A guarantee of quality.
In the fields, the horses graze alongside a herb of Charolais cows, an essential division of space which lends a complementary balance. The farm supplies all the food and grain which supplement the grass and hay diet during the winter, ensures healthy growth for the young and good rations for those mares carrying foals.
The three year old fillies are coupled to allow them to continue to develop whilst gently nurturing their foals in the meadow during their fourth year. They are thus more mature when entering into competition.
For the males, a few horseshows suffice to give them a taste for the world of competition.

Blondine II

Selle Français Anglo de Complément 19,28% by FORT NATIONAL thoroughbred et Mirella Anglo Arabe. She comes from the Rondeau breeding where FORT NATIONAL was ride by Jean Montoille. FORT NATIONAL thoroughbred son of Wild Risk which comes directly from ECLIPSE. FORT NATIONAL is one of the best father of mothers in every kind of order in the 80'. In crossing with SF, the products have succeeded very well : Un Espoir E gold medal at Montréal, Fort Grandchamp best CEE mark in the 80', himself father of Dope Doux europe CCE champion of the six years old..
